Scott Elias is the 11th grade assistant principal at Loveland High School in Loveland, Colorado. He lives in Loveland with his wife, Lorraine, his four-year-old son, and one-year-old daughter. Prior to coming to Loveland, he was an assistant principal at Greeley West High School in Greeley, Colorado, and an administrator, technology coordinator, and teacher in Broward County, Florida. He is currently a doctoral student in educational leadership at Colorado State University.
In his spare time, Scott and his family enjoy exploring the mountains and trails in Northern Colorado and they can often be found hiking, fly fishing, or even snowshoeing.
Thank you! This is my first year as an administrator and it really helps to hear about your experiences and ideas.
Melinda and Scott,
I have just subscribed and listened to all of the “older” podcasts. I have enjoyed your podcasts! Your humor and topics keeps me listening. I have been an administrator for 7 years and there is always something to learn. Being one of the younger administrators in my district (fairly large), it is difficult to find many to collaborate with in regards to technology and how we promote it in our schools. I look forward to hearing future podcasts and the links/documents that accompany them.
As a teacher studying to become an Administrator (and a Springfield, MO resident), your blog and tweets provide very helpful and interesting information.
Thanks!
Steve,
Nice to meet you and to see you on twitter! Nice to have the “locals” listening. Please be sure to tell Dr. Wegner I said hello. He is a tech geeky as we are. Much more advanced than me tho!
Melinda
Okay I didn’t realize how many comments were on this page. Glad you guys are listening and enjoying. Please be sure to share some topic ideas for us. We have lots but what would like us to toss around one evening?
